“I always wanted some Jordans”

ZOE_0121ZOE_0120

Today I took one of our younger residents shopping. He was quiet as we drove to the mall but when I asked him what were his favorite brand of shoes he said “I’ve always wanted a new pair of Jordans.” I asked him what color did he want and he said “I would take any color but my favorite color is black.” When we walked into the store he made a bee line for the back wall where the Air Jordan tennis shoes were and immediately picked up a blue pair of shoes. I said “I thought you wanted a black pair” and he said “No, these are the ones I want.” So within 2 minutes of being in the store he had picked out his pair of shores. Within 15 minutes of walking into the store we were checking out with smiles on our faces.

That’s the kind of shopper I like…. know what you want and get out of there!!!!

  1. So glad to see Magnolia Son helping these kids in such a deserving way. Christian would be so proud of this project. I know I am very proud to call you my sister. You have turned a terrible loss into a loving act for kids in need. I know the future of Magnolia Son is very bright! Love, Tracy
