On Christmas Eve the entire family would gather at my grandmother’s home to open presents between cousins and aunts and uncles. Somehow I became the designated Santa Claus of the group which meant I determined who got their present when. I think Christian was helping take presents to the different family members to open thinking that if he helped “Santa” he would get his presents first. I think it typically worked the opposite. The helper tended to have to wait until last!! He looked like it was a painful process. 🙂
